  It saddens me to write this review because we have stayed in this unit before. We set reservation for 7 days over Thanksgiving week. We rented 2 units Ch5 and Ch4. When we arrived 4 of the 6 guests in Ch5 instantly got watery eyes, allergies started to flair up. Place looked clean but has carpet and heavy dust on fan, wood beams, etc. So I opened up couple of windows to let the place air out. Next morning we were convinced that there was a problem. Coming from Florida we understand how a/c systems are the catch all for dust. We pulled filters and to our surprise they were covered in 2" of dust and dirt. (I have pictures to prove) Filter must be original, could not see the folds in the filter they were so dirty. We called office and they were stand offish they quickly stated that was the owners job not there's. Thought changing the filter would be the fix we tried to relax and enjoy our vacation. Next day allergies still bugging everyone especially our 2 year old. I looked at area rug and it was covered in animal hair, looked underneath the sofa full of animal hair, pulled cushions from couches and guess what more animal hair dog if I had to guess and not just one. I spoke to office clerk and told her Ch5 is pet free correct she said yes but only for renters the owners have pets. Now why would you state pet free and not state owners have pets. unacceptable, this lack of disclosure caused us to visit the Boone Emergency Medical Center our 2 year old had trouble breathing and it started when we arrived into this unit. Ruined the trip after the ER visit he could not go out in the cold weather. We had to put him in with other family members in CH4 unit below. These units are not owned by Foscoe but they are managed by them. Customer rents and pays Foscoe with the expectation that Foscoe would provide and clean, safe and pet free place as advertised. In this case they FAILED us with a dirty place with lack of disclosure of pets in unit.
